The Abbotswood Conservation Area is bounded to the
south by Thorneycroft Woods, to the west by the Riverside Nature Reserve and to
the east by the London Road. The area encompasses two Grade II listed buildings
and nine Locally Listed buildings. Further, all the Holford and Burlingham
dwellings shown on the map below are subject to Article 4(2) directions to
protect architectural character.
The Conservation Area boundary is shown below by the red line.
The portion of the Conservation Area represented by the ARA-CC is the area
bounded by London Road, number 7 on one spur and number 38 on the other.
