The East Guildford Residents Association is a non-political umbrella
organisation that represents East Guildford Residents Associations and
Amenity Groups, in order to strengthen their collective voice.
EGRA acts collectively, where common interests can be agreed, to;

Protect the environment and the local community from
inappropriate development.

Encourage good design and development.

Gain
knowledge and understanding about Guildford, its environs and future
development.

Provide
a forum for debate and the opportunity to exchange information.

Provide
information to Residents’ Associations and promote residents
participation in the community.

Promote participation in the public consultation process with
Guildford Borough Council, Surrey County Council and other relevant
organisations.

Make
representations to those in authority on development impacting on
the Borough, the County and the South East Region.

Promote
and maintain Guildford as a good place to live and work.
Membership
is open to any bona fide Residents’ Association or Amenity Group in East
Guildford.
